27th Tango Collaboration Meeting, May 21-24, 2013

TANGO is an object oriented distributed control system using CORBA (synchronous and asynchronous communication) and zeromq (event based communication) and is being actively developed as a collaborative effort between the Alba, Desy, Elettra, ESRF , FRM II, MAX-IV, Solaris and Soleil institutes.

The TANGO Collaboration members meet twice a year to discuss developments and control system relevant problems. The meeting is open to other institutions interested in this subject. The list of proposed topics to discuss in this meeting is listed in the Program tab.

The 27th Tango collaboration meeting will be hosted by CELLS-ALBA Synchrotron and will take place the 23rd and 24th of May 2013 .
The executive committee will also meet during these days.

A satellite workshop will introduce Sardana, an experiment control framework developed using Tango. This workshop is open to anyone interested in learning how Sardana works and the status of its development. Sardana Workshop and Tango Meeting can be attended as separate events, registering for Workshop or Meeting instead of Full Event.
